Bring Men Together

The world seems to get crazier by the minute! Sometimes it’s nice to take a break and talk with like minded men that share the same challenges as we walk through life.

The 859 Fellowship allows men from all over the DFW Metroplex do just that. We gather each week and spend an hour discussing issues and challenges that men face every day. We laugh a lot share our stories and remember that God holds the answers to everything. We just need to seek his guidance.

The amazing Texican Team!

Fabiola, Mario, Lourdes

We gather every Thursday at the Texican Court Hotel in beautiful Las Colinas.

Any man looking to join the fellowship is welcome so please drop by for a coffee and an hour of great discussions. We start to gather for coffee at 8 am. Our discussion begins promptly at 8:30 and ends at 9:30 am so you can get on with your day!

This Week

Our Topic for This Week:

Beloved, if God so loved us,
we ought also to love one another.

1 John 4:11 KJV

This Bible verse arrived in my inbox today. At almost the same moment, I got an email from Steve, suggesting the following topic for this Thursday:

During a time with politics dividing Americans more and more against each other.
1.    How can we as Christians, not fall into Satan's traps of creating hatred, judgement, bad thoughts, vengeance, or ill will for the others.
2.    How can we reach others as Christ follows with love, compassion, fairness, understanding, how can we illustrate how much we love our brothers and sisters even when we do not like or believe in their political views.

Potential Biblical Verse

Matthew 7
"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?

Romans 2

You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. Now we know that God's judgment against those who do such things is based on truth.

We can look forward to Steve leading us through this on Thursday
